I think it stinks that you have to use one of your ten free articles (for the month) to view a recipe.
Boil spaghetti. Put some oil on it. Shake out a bunch from that green can of Parmesan cheese. 9 out of 10 won't be able to tell the difference.
Geez I came up with dish one night when I was out of everything and too lazy to go to the store. I didnt know it was a classic.
Completamente sbagliato come metodo. That's absolutely incorrect that you add Parmigiano to this! If anyone is interested this is the REAL recipe - http://ricette.giallozafferano.it/Spaghetti-Cacio-e-Pepe.html
This is definitively how not doing the Cacio e Pepe. No parmigiano cheese and not cold water in the recipe. If you smuggle this in Rome as authentic you might be banned from the city!
One of my favorite things about Rome. But don't bother ordering anywhere else, you tend to end up with something more resembling alfredo...
Ha ha yeah one of my favorites! But I agree with some of the comments that this recipe doesn’t sound that good, mine is the traditional way of cooking the pasta in the skillet and slowly adding the cheese in so that you feel the velvety texture and the cheese clings and mixes in better.
Ben Moar Please??? :P But you gotta read some comments. They say this isn't the right way to make it. Lol. I don't know but it's pasta so whatever :P
Definitely no olive oil and no parmigiano. You have to use boiled water from pasta instead of hot water to make sauce.
Alison and Javi let's make this next time we're all together. This time I'll try to refrain from scalding myself
